This year the event is being run by eJustice and Indato on GitHub: a globally acknowledged platform, that remains until now the largest global community of open source development, and apparently relatively independent from Microsoft. We appreciate very much that GitHub is mostly a stable and powerful tool for many communities.

Nevertheless, especially with the current geopolitical climate it is important that we support alternatives. Dribdat is designed to support conceptual and organizational work at hackathons, and it is open source and available for everyone. More technical projects can use alternatives like Forgejo instance (e.g. Codeberg) and GitLab (e.g. BFH-TI).

All attendees, sponsors, partners, volunteers and staff at our hackathon are required to agree with the Hack Code of Conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to ensure a safe environment for everybody.
